The project iMediathek intends to examine the possibilities and conditions for the
"reproduction"
of media works - especially video art - in the internet. It's goal is to evaluate these and develope
prototypes making the reproductions available.
Hence iMediathek aims at establishing a virtual video art archive as an instrument for research
and for teaching.
